Spinning Brighid now only $10
It was our first CD and we overbought. Too many copies, not enough shows to sell them at. Some really great
music though -- give it a listen.
Music Player was Broken, Now Fixed.
The nifty little music player I built for this site went belly up when CDBaby changed the file paths for their
samples. After pursuing a few red herrings, I figured out that's all it was and made the fix. Listen away!
Shepheards Holyday back from duplication! Yay!
After much waiting on art and production details, the CD that was mastered in February is finally in hand.
Who is playing on it?
Wandering Hands (that's Kelly Leith, and Jeannie) with help from our friend and engineer
Steve Berry of Phantom Studios on snare drum and Leith's 1/2 brother Nick Rivard on bass.
What is on it?
A bunch of country dances from The English Dancing Master, published by John Playford in 1651. We were very
careful to play everything with the right tempos and repeat patterns for dancing but also to make
the CD listenable in its own right, and I daresay we succeeded. We stuck to all acoustic and mostly
period instruments this time, giving it all the excitement of rock and roll with none of the distortion.
How do I get it?
Get it from us in person, such as at a concert or an SCA event, or order it from
CD Baby.
Can I hear some samples already?
Yes! CDBaby finally got the samples up and I added them to the player at the top of this page.
